There are a few public green spaces close by for residents to relax in, including Norumbega Park, and they are especially well-spread out, which makes it very easy to reach them from a lot of locations in this neighborhood. This part of Newton remains relatively quiet, since there are few people out and about on the streets, although noise levels are higher closer to Massachusetts Tpke or the railway line.
